About the United Benefice
We have lots of social events together and all our activities are published on our weekly news sheet available to download from this website.
We are growing together as a group of churches and now have a United Benefice service each month on the first Sunday of the month at normal service times, this means that on those Sundays there is no Sunday service at two of our churches. This is held at each church in turn.
For special services e.g. Christmas please click on the home button at the bottom of this page.
The Parochial Church Councils (PCCs) of Christ Church, Oldbury, St John and St Michael, Langley and St Mark, Londonderry recognise the need to safeguard the children, young people and adults in our care and guard against the possibility of any form of abuse of children, young people and adults by persons who may be acting in the name of our parish.
We aim to create a safe environment for the nurture and development of children, young people and adults, in order for them to feel valued and confident to ask for support and help. We strive to ensure that our policies and procedures uphold the importance of our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and adults entrusted to our care.
If you would like report concerns or discuss our policies and procedures, please contact our Vicar, Rev’d Kathy Evans on 0121 552 9509 or our Safeguarding Co-ordinator, Elden Small on 07984 364626. You can also contact the Church of England Birmingham’s Safeguarding Officer, Steph Haynes on 07342 993844.
